About the Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC)

Have you been thinking about renovating your kitchen, bathroom, basement, or a new addition? The Home Renovation Tax Credit (HRTC) can help with the cost of materials and our professional services. It is a credit being applied for the 2009 tax year and all our services and costs will apply for the credit.

The credit will only be available for the 2009 tax year and applies to eligible expenditures of more than $1,000, but not more than $10,000, resulting in a maximum credit of $1,350 ($9,000 x 15%). Eligible renovations and construction services include:
